Travel & Stay

Many of you will be traveling a long distance to make it to our wedding, and for that we are grateful beyond words. To make the trip worthwhile, we have reserved the location from the evening of Thursday the 17th, to the morning of Monday the 21st (the couple and close family will be staying there the whole time). The idea is to be able to spend more than just the wedding day together, think of it as a ‘camp vibe’, where we are relaxing together, helping set things up, and just taking it easy. Friday will likely be a time of setting up, decorating, some fun and introductions, and for those helping, there will be a meal together on Friday night. 

There will be roughly 60 guests, so not everyone can stay on site, but below are some options.


Aussie & Canadian Friends

Option 1)

If you would also like to stay on location, there are additional options for camping. There are facilities (toilets, shower, kitchenette) on site for €15 per night. If at least 5 couples/groups would like to camp on site, we can arrange comfortable glamping tents at around €250 per tent for four nights. Feel free to contact us about the camping option and we will help arrange something. We can for example, try and borrow tents from our community to keep costs down.  

Option 2)

You can also stay in a hotel in nearby Aalsmeer for around €80 per night. Please note however there is no direct public transport between Aalsmeer and the venue. It is only a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bike, but you would need to hire a car or bikes for this. If multiple people stay in Aalsmeer it might be smart to carpool. 

Option 3)

You can also choose to stay in Amsterdam and take the train to Hoofdorp. On the wedding day we will have a van doing shuttle runs, but cannot guarantee transport on the other days. Please let us know if you plan on this option so we can arrange transport on the day.



Amsterdam Friends

You can of course just come for the day! However if you would like to stay the Friday or Saturday night, you are welcome to camp (very fun). You can set up a tent in the greenhouse and use the facilities on site for €15 per night. If you are traveling by train, please let us know in your RSVP so we can arrange shuttle transportation. There are some places for car parking too.
